This DC-6 cargo aircraft was recently moved from the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport East Ramp across International Airport Road next to the Coast International Inn at Lake Hood on Lake Shore Drive. The aircraft donated by Northern Air Cargo to the Alaska Aviation Museum for its part in the development of Rural Alaska, the oil and fishing industries. The move from the airport side to the lake side is also a donation by F&W Construction of Anchorage, AK.
