The Grumman Goose has long been a useful aircraft in Alaska due to it’s amphibious ability to land on water and land. Originally designed to hold 8 people the Goose soon became a workhorse of the Aleutian Islands offering connectivity to Cold Bay, Dutch Harbor, Adak Island from small coastal villages to commercial airline connections to Anchorage and the Lower 48 states.
